I have filmmaking qualities in my blood, which I inherited from my father who was a known producer of Malayalam film industry. I have handled media and have been able to disseminate items which are newsy& topical. I also worked as an entrepreneur and produced news and entertainment programs for various TV channels in India & abroad. I have produced / directed more than 300 programmes in entertainment and current affairs like: BPL Music Mania, The Great Indian Roads, Philips Super 10, Rasna Song Meri Pasand, Exclusive Expose, Videocon Top Tucker, close-up pattuvilayattu etc…
33 years in Films, Media and Television, as a Creative Director, Programming head. And Chief Operating Officer.
In the course of my career, I have accumulated both creative as well as strategic production planning as detailed below:
- Established 7 round the clocks TV channels, including appropriate technology decision, competent manpower selection, channel packaging & positioning of the Channel.
- To lead large team of more than three hundred media professionals and run a 24-hour TV channel.
- Manage the creative talent.
- Conceptualize, plan, produce and direct TV programs, promos, news bulletins.
- Done a perfect monitoring and make the necessary changes in policy and working procedure to run the system more effectively which includes:
- Duty charts of various departments
- Work procedure & effective production schedule for smooth sailing
- Cross hierarchy of different departments
- FPC design according to marketing feed back
- Event management of the channel like live shows, budget, elections, disasters natural or manmade, riots etc.
